Originally from Wisconsin, Zac attended Lawrence University, University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and the National Theater Institute and worked with the Fireside Dinner Theater in Fort Atkinson, WI and Skylight Music Theater in Milwaukee, WI. We have built our reputation for excellence over the past 49 years with a commitment to quality in all areas and receive overwhelmingly positive comments on both dining and theatre and are very sorry to that you did not enjoy it, but look forward to serving you in the future if you decide to reconsider and give us another try.Zachary Cooper joined Ballet Arizona in the Spring of 2021 after a tenure as Technical Director at the two-time Tony winning Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT and has worked professionally in theatrical production for nearly a decade. In regard to the food, there are several different menus to choose from throughout each performance week. Our Box Office is open seven days a week and are always willing and able to check seating options for as many dates as needed to find you the seating that you prefer and answer any other questions. It does depend a bit on how tall you are as to where that falls in your line of sight.

While most guests prefer main floor seating there are many that enjoy the different view from the balcony and don’t mind the safety rails at all. Even so, the price of our dinner theatre package is less than the cost of just the show at other Midwest venues featuring comparable talent.

Our shows feature professional casts from New York and Chicago auditions, many with credits from Broadway and National Tours. That said, we are sorry to read that you were unhappy with your recent visit and appreciate your comments. We are excited to hear that you had so many memorable visits to The Fireside in the past. This place is great for locals who want a date night experience and who really have almost no real choices in dining but for others who will have to travel a distance, especially from Milwaukee or Chicago area there, are better smaller theaters and it is probably where a lot of the previous Fireside talent has gone to perform. I enjoy the community theater and high school plays but I also don't drive 2 hours and pay over $60 a person to see them either. Not a comfortable way to watch a show that I paid decent money for The talent is that of seniors in high school or community college. So I had to move at least 3 times to let her in and out of her perch and then when she was standing there I also had to crouch down in my seat, sit sideways so I could see around her and the 2 bars. I had the displeasure of having an end seat on the 1st row balcony that had not only the 2 black wrought iron railing bars in the way but also was right where the stage hand who operates the lights stands. Unless you lurch forward and sit that way the whole show you will only see performers bodies and not their heads. The balcony seats unless you are a 4 year old are not great because there are 2 black iron bar railing all the way around to keep you from falling off the balcony but also obstruct the view. 2nd the show: The floor seats are great you can see everything because it is a theater in the round.

The kids meals were again breaded chicken fingers (without flavor except for grease), mac n cheese that had processed cheese sauce on it (real mac n cheese doesn't have that schoolbus yellow color cheese sauce) and overcooked vegetables, Dessert was homemade icecream which was good and the cobbler was ok but again nothing I would drive 2 hours to eat. Rice with sausage, sausage was overcooked to the point it was gray. The chicken was luke warm, pounded flat, breaded with not much flavor and the small portion of vegetable medley was overcooked. This last time we were there, the 5 courses are still standard however portion size and food quality is right there with maybe Shoneys or Denny's. 1st The Food: Used to get 5 course meal with large portions and great quality food. The shows and food used to be great however in the past year or so the quality of both have gone down. This is a great little theater in a cute cornfield town in Wisconsin. I am sad to write this review as I have been going to the Fireside for over 8 years but after our past 2 experiences we won't be taking the long 2 hour ride back.
